The San Diego Gulls played hard against Tucson Roadrunners tonight, but ultimately fell 3-0.
This loss comes after these two teams had split the season set so far. Their previous matches in early November saw Tucson win 5-2, and San Diego taking a win 4-2.
Tucson saw its first goal from Lleyton Moore in the first period. The second period saw no goals from either team, before the Roadrunners earned two more in the final period.
Goaltender Calle Clang saved 22 shots.
San Diego will play eight of its next ten games on home ice at Pechanga Arena. This comes after spending 22 of the first 36 days of the regular season on the road.
The Gulls travel to San Jose this Wednesday to challenge the Barracuda (7 pm PST) before returning home to face the Bakersfield Condors on Friday.
