The San Diego Gulls and Colorado Eagles go head-to-head for the second consecutive night in a row, this time for the Gulls’ annual St. Patrick’s Day game (6 p.m. PST; TV: AHLTV on FloHockey; Radio: Gulls Audio Network).

Last night, the Gulls ultimately came up short against the Eagles 3-1.

"They're a good team," said Dillon Heatherington. "You have to give them credit when credit's due. But I thought we had our chances and going into [tonight], there's opportunities, and there's opportunities to score goals. It should be a good match [tonight]."

San Diego hits the road after tonight for a three-game stretch. Every contest is another chance for the Gulls to show their fans and opponents alike what they can do.

"All the competitive elements were there for the game [last night]," said head coach Matt McIlvane. "We're not sitting here feeling like there was anything left from that perspective. So, there was a lot of good from our guys. The fight was great. The spirit was great. Tough break. We'll reset, and we'll get ready."

The Gulls will travel north this week to San Jose where they will take on the Barracuda this Wednesday, March 19 (10:30 a.m. PST).
