The San Diego Gulls are set to wrap up their four-game road trip tonight, this time against the Coachella Valley Firebirds (6 p.m. PST; TV: AHLTV on FloHockey; Radio: Gulls Audio Network).

Earlier this week, the Gulls were victorious against the Abbotsford Canucks, walking away with a score of 4-1.

San Diego plans to show the Firebirds the determination and hard work their fans have seen all season.

"We know we can't really take any game for granted right now," said Judd Caulfield. "There's a little less than 30 games left, and we got a lot of points to make up in the settings for our playoff push. So, we know that these guys show up to every game, show up to every battle, and do our best to get as many points as we can here in the second half."

With just about two months of the 2024-25 season left, San Diego knows they have no time to waste. Clearly, they have what it takes to see more success this season.

"We just need to keep playing with that energy like we were talking about," said Caulfield. "Just playing physical and not letting them use their speed and their liners for their advantage. [We need to be] staying on top of their guys and not giving them odd man rest is just limit their chances because you know they're good half high offense team. So, I just got to bear down and play hard."

The Gulls return to the nest this Sunday, where they will host the San Jose Barracuda for Star Wars Night (5 pm PST).
