The Gulls wrap up their five-game homestand tonight against the Calgary Wranglers at Pechanga Arena (6:00 pm PST; TV: AHLTV on FloHockey; Radio: Gulls Audio Network).

Over the course of the homestand, San Diego has taken two wins and two losses, both from their contests against the Iowa Wild and the Tucson Roadrunners.

In its last matchup, San Diego fell 7-5 to Iowa. Jan Mysak, Sasha Pastujov and Tristan Luneau all had three-point nights, and Nico Myatovic earned the first multi-point game of his AHL career. Carson Meyer also continued his point streak to five games.

"A big part of [the offense] was our power play," Luneau said. "Special unit’s coming together right now and it’s making a big difference offensively."

Tonight’s matchup against the Wranglers marks the start of the second half of the 2024-25 season. The Gulls currently stand at a record of 11-20-3-2.

"There’s a formula for our success," head coach Matt McIlvane said. "It’s very apparent. We all know it, and we have to stick to it. It’s as simple as that. We can get back to our game."

After wrapping up their homestand, the Gulls will fly north to Calgary to face the Wranglers again in back-to-back contests next weekend at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
