The San Diego Gulls are set to face off against the San Jose Barracuda tonight at Pechanga Arena (7:00 p.m. PST; TV: AHLTV on FloHockey; Radio: Gulls Audio Network).

Tonight marks the fourth time this season these two teams are going head-to-head. Their meeting on December 4 notably resulted in a twelve-round shootout, which is the longest shootout leading to a victory in Gulls’ history.

San Diego fell short to the Bakersfield Condors last weekend. Despite the loss, the Gulls still have points in five of their last six home games (4-1-0-1).

"We want to win at home, so that's the first thing," said Sam Colangelo. "Just learn from our mistakes. There's a long way to go, but we've been saying this for a while now…we want to win. I don't think it's because of a lack of effort. I think we just need to be ready to play when the puck drops."

This contest is the final one in a stretch of three home games. Later this week, the Gulls will hit the road again to challenge Ontario and Coachella Valley.

San Diego takes on the Barracuda this evening before their meeting with the Ontario Reign at Toyota Arena this Friday (7 pm PST).
