The San Diego Gulls fell to the Bakersfield Condors 3-2 in overtime in Game 2 of their Pacific Division Semifinals series at Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, CA.

Luke Esposito tied the tied with 7:20 left in regulation, tipping a point shot from Theodor Lennstrom past Lukas Dostal for his first goal of the postseason.

Benoit-Olivier Groulx scored his first American Hockey League postseason goal to put San Diego ahead at 8:21 of the opening period.

Simon Benoit snuck down from the point, collecting a loose puck sent to the side boards from behind the goal line. The defenseman sent a cross-ice pass to Groulx, who found himself open at the side of the net. He collected the pass from his skates before slamming home the shot for the goal.

Cooper Marody tied the game with 8:21 remaining in the period.

Trevor Carrick scored his first goal of the postseason with 4:53 left in the first period, slapping a shot past Stuart Skinner for the go-ahead marker.
