Ducks Select Left Wing Artyom Galimov with 129th Overall Selection
Oct 7, 2020With the 129th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, the Anaheim Ducks selected left wing Artyom Galimov from Ak Bars Kazan from the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Galimov, 21 (9/8/99), earned the Alexei Cherepanov Award as the 2019-20 KHL Rookie of the Year after earning 23 points (13g/10a) in 55 games with Ak Bars Kazan.. He also co-led the KHL with eight game-winning goals last season and had three assists in four KHL playoff games.
