Gulls In The Community

The San Diego Gulls take pride in giving back to the San Diego and Southern California community. Our organization's commitments include providing in-kind donations and donated tickets for local community organizations as well as facilitating the civic involvement of our players, coaches, broadcasters, staff, and mascot.

The team also contributes locally through the San Diego Gulls Foundation, which serves as the team’s main charitable beneficiary. The mission of the San Diego Gulls Foundation is to facilitate and support programs that produce positive change for children and families throughout San Diego by providing educational opportunities, broadening access to the sport of hockey, and addressing the health and wellness needs of our community. Since its inception, the San Diego Gulls Foundation has contributed over $1 million to the San Diego community.

The Golf Classic is the San Diego Gulls Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. At this year’s event, you’ll have the opportunity to play alongside Gulls players and coaches, all while helping us raise important funds that will help us strengthen our impact on the San Diego Community.

San Diego Gulls Bowling Night

Gulls Bowling Night is the San Diego Gulls Foundation’s second largest fundraiser of the year. Join your favorite Gulls players for a night filled with fun, raffles, and friendly competition all for a good cause. Stay tuned for more information coming later this season!

Reading is the Goal is a free program open to elementary school grade classrooms in the Greater San Diego Area. We coordinate directly with school district leadership, principals and teachers to encourage classrooms to sign up and participate.
