The San Diego Gulls are looking for a Wednesday night rebound as they will hit the ice for a final stand with the Colorado Eagles tonight at Blue Arena (6:05 p.m. PST).

Tonight’s matchup marks the concluding game on the road for the Gulls, who have now split the wins over four away matches completed since they hit the road on April 10.

San Diego is coming off a tough night one with the Eagles which saw the Gulls struggle to make things connect as they were kept off the scoresheet in a 6-0 decision to Colorado at Blue Arena Tuesday night.

"They were ready right from the start, and we weren’t," assistant coach Kris Sparre said. "Kind of uncharacteristic from... how dialed in we’ve been and been able to stick together in the final stretch here. So, we’ll be looking for a response tomorrow."

With twenty-four hours to gear up for round two, the Gulls will look to make their presence known in their effort bounce back at Blue Arena for the series finale with the Eagles. Over three previously played matches in the 2023-2024 season, San Diego has claimed one of the wins over Colorado.

Tonight, the Gulls are aiming to make things even.

"Colorado is a stingy team, they don’t give up much, and so you’ve really got to work to create offense and be able to sustain offensive zone play," Sparre said. "Tonight, they did a good job of shutting down our offense and I think we’re going to have to work for every inch tomorrow to have success."

The Gulls will be back in action in San Diego this Saturday, April 20 for their final home game of the season as they square off with the Coachella Valley Firebirds at Pechanga Arena San Diego (6 p.m. PST).
